Windows or MAC or Android Can not Connect To Network After Changing WiFi Password

By default laptop or mobile device saves wifi password or PIN. To remove the old password or PIN follow below steps

Windows 10:

  1. Start button.
  2. Settings.
  3. Network & Internet.
  4. Select your Wi-Fi from the left panel
  5. Go down and click Manage Wi-Fi settings
  6. New windows will open, go down – Under Manage known networks, select your WiFi network.
  7. Finally click on Forget button. It will reset the password, try to connect now it will ask you the password again.

Windows 8

  1. Settings.
  2. Select WiFi.
  3. Right click on your WiFi network
  4. clikc View connection properties.
  5. Go to Security tab,
  6. Uncheck Remember my credentials
  7. Finally, OK.

Windows 7

  1. Start.
  2. Control Panel.
  3. Network and Internet
  4. Go to Network and Sharing Center.
  5. select Manage Wireless networks.
  6. Select the your WiFi network
  7. Right click and select Properties.
  8. Go to Security tab and uncheck Remember my credentials
  9. OK.


  1. Select Settings on the main menu.
  2. Select Wi-Fi > Your WiFi Network > tap on iOS information icon information button.
  3. Tap Forget This Network.
  4. Tap Forget.

Android smartphones

  1. Select Settings on the main menu.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Click on your WiFi network
  4. Select Forget.

Mac OS X

  1. Go to apple menu
  2. Select System Preferences.
  3. Choose Network.
  4. Select Wi-Fi and click Advanced.
  5. Under Preferred Networks, select your WiFi network name.
  6. Click negative (‘-‘) button to remove your WiFi.

BlackBerry smartphones

  1. Go to Manage Connection on the main menu.
  2. Turn Wi-Fi setting On.
  3. Select Set Up Wi-Fi Network
  4. Click Next
  5. Scan for Networks
  6. You will see your network.
  7. Navigate to User password and change it to your WiFi password or PIN.
  8. Save
  9. Next > OK > Finish.
