Note – If you are using Windows 7, 8 or less than 10 then please down docker-toolbox.

Follow the following easy steps:

Step 1 – Download Docker

Download Docker for Windows 10 – Official Link
Download Docker ToolBox for Windows 7 or 8 – Official Link

Step 2 – Follow the installation steps, click on install and so on

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3 – Hyper V is required for docker on windows

If Hyper is not enabled it will show the ok/cancel option where we can enable this option. Click on yes and pc will be restart.

 

 

 

 

Step 4 – Verify Docker is install successfully.

Open windows power shell and type docker version

Step 5 – Enjoy! Docker is installed successfully.
Let’s try Hello World example in docker.

PS C:\Users\Tushar Sarde> docker run hello-world

Hello from Docker!
